A film crew came for a day to film an advert for Starburst sweets. The story line is that a school boy walks into a field and befriends a scarecrow and gives him his pack of sweets. Once the boy is gone, the scarcrow comes to life and tries to wriggle free to get the sweets out of his pocket, without much success!
The crew were lucky with the weather, they wanted a fine sunny day and that's exactly what they got which is a miracle at the moment! They all started to arrive from 5.00 am and didn't leave until 6.00 pm, it's longer hours than farming! The best bit about it all was the catering wagon which served up a fantastic cooked breakfast, followed by lunch which was all freshly cooked on site and then tea! Molly and Maisy (the dogs) thought this was great and have put on about 2 stone each!
