We found this beautiful cottage on the internet, but had not expected it to be our home from the second we were welcomed: fresh flowers in all rooms. The girls loved helping with feeding the animals and one of the highlights was the landrover ride through Midsommer country, with the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang windmill and pond as extras. Wonderful view of beautiful countryside - even when it was raining. The Thames Valley is indeed a hidden treasure and well worth another visit. Extremely helpful and attentive hosts for which nothing was too much trouble.
Look forward to another stay when we can explore the local villages and fabulous wildlife at our leisure.

Well, what a little haven this has turned out to be. The farm, the views, walled garden, beautifully converted barn, feeding the calves and best of all the landrover trip. Thank you all Straceys - it has been a lovely end to our 10 years in henley

I had so much fun working on the farm! It was great fun going on the tractor, combine and landrover. My Dads friends really want to come over here. It was the best place I have ever been to and we want to come back here next year. Thanks for all the fun and hopefully see you next year. Bye for now!
